Io Series Rear Bumper – Jeep WJ (1999–2004)
Named after Io, the most volcanic and extreme moon in the solar system, the Io Series rear bumper is built for Jeep WJ owners who want maximum clearance, modularity, and strength without sacrificing the WJ’s curved factory body lines. Designed to pair perfectly with the Io recessed winch front bumper, this rear bumper offers a matching tubular aesthetic with serious off‑road capability.
The Io rear bumper uses a three‑piece modular design that reduces shipping cost, increases customization options, and makes installation and future upgrades easier. Its integrated tubular structure keeps weight down while remaining easy to trim for larger lift and tire setups. A heavy duty spindle, multi-pattern tire plate, and proprietary spring loaded latch give the Io tire carrier smooth, one handed operation on the trail.
**Note rear bumpers are a multi piece shipment, the modular design allows the rear bumpers to ship through UPS, however they can be sent is as many as 4-5 packages for one bumper.
***DIY kits are available for non tire carrier bumpers only, hitch receivers will need to be cut into the bumper. Welding is required for DIY kits. Please contact us if you have any questions before ordering.
